Added before your drywall is installed, this fire rated backbox is used to reduce sound transmission between floors in your home. As an example, very useful if you tend to have parties in the kitchen when the baby’s room is one floor above. Compatible with all CI300 and CI600 in-ceiling models. Must be used with a matching PreMountKit. See below for more information.

Fits any CCM model in the CI 300, CI 600 or CCM7.5S2. Must be used with a PMK pre-mount kit (sold separately).
